Time and Benefits of Canadian Immigration (2021) Why Canada?

How long does it take

Hi! How quickly can you move through Canada through the Express Entry Program? How "Express" is Express Entry? There used to be a time when it used to take 3-4 even 5 or 6 years to immigrate to Canada through the immigration programs. But back in 2015the government introduced a new program known as the Express Entry Program.

Through the Express Entry Program, 80% of the applications are processed within a period of 6 months. Now, this doesn't mean that if you decide to immigrate to Canada today it will only take you 6 months. This period of 6 months starts from the day you apply for your permanent residence. Now, before you reach that stage there are a number of milestones.

Of course, you have to go through your IELTS exam first, and depending upon how prepared you are it will take some time to prepare for it, to register for the exam, to actually take the exam, and to see if you achieve your desired score.

You also have to get an educational credential assessment. So once you have your IELTS and your educational Credential Assessment then you can make an Express Entry profile. So once you receive your Invitation To Apply and then you actually apply for permanent residence that's when the 6-month timer starts for those 80%applications that we were talking about.

So, as you can see even though the main application processing time is 6 months, there are some other steps that can take longer but in any case, this is an amazing improvement compared to before where you had to wait for years to move to Canada. So, if you've finally decided to move to Canada.

Benefits of Canadian Immigration

Today I wanted to talk about "Why Canada"? I am in a beautiful conservation area near Milton. A lot of people ask me what the employment opportunities will look like if I move to Canada? What's the real benefit of going to Canada?

It's so cold and so and so forth. But I think, it's the complete package. Unlike going to the middle east, where you're generally, mainly for a better salary, and you can't ever become a UAE or Saudi citizen, or a citizen of Qatar, here in Canada, it's the complete package in a sense that you are coming here to make Canada your home.

A home which is as beautiful as this place. And where you enjoy an overall good quality of life. And the quality of life means a number of things. It means free healthcare, it means free education till high school for your kids.

So, if you've already decided that you want to move to Canada, feel free to skip this video. But if you're still unsure, let me shed light on some things. First of all, Canada is the most diverse place in the world, one of the most diverse places at least.

One in five Canadians is a visible minority. And what this means is anyone other than the aboriginal people who are non-Caucasian. Some areas are more diverse than others, like the greater Toronto Area is one of the most diverse areas in Canada where you'll find a lot of people from South Asia, from China, from the middle east, from east Asia like the Philippines.

In terms of language, English is the native language for about half of the Canadians but there are also a lot of French speakers, Chinese speakers, Tagalog speakers, Spanish, Punjabis, Urdu. A lot of different languages, you'll find a lot of different backgrounds.

So, you kind of feel at home. It doesn't feel like you've actually come to a very strange place. Healthcare: Canada has one of the best healthcare systems in the world, where if you're a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, the healthcare is basically free.

It's covered by taxpayer's money. Canada also has one of the best educational systems in the world where up until high school the education is completely free. And even after high school, for universities or colleges, you can take student loans so you can cover your education if you can't afford it. Also about 54% of the Canadians, aged 24 to64 have a college or university degree.

So you'll find a lot of educated, smart people around you. Canada is also a great place if you're a nature lover. As you know Canada is the second-largest country in the world in terms of land area. And 35% or one-third of Canada is forest. And 9% of the world's forests are in Canada. Especially in the summertime, you can really enjoy going out in the beautiful weather, enjoying beautiful sites. There are a lot of accessible hiking sites, very close to different cities.

Like, for this particular location, I drove10 minutes from my home to reach this place. You don't have to travel hundreds of kilometers to go to a nice place, a nice serene place like this. You can find places like this all over. In terms of entertainment and lifestyle, you can find a lot of different options.

From big shopping malls to different sports arenas, to different parks and nightlife. And by the way, with a Canadian passport, you can travel to 183 countries of the world visa-free. Canada has one of the best passports in the world, in this regard.

There are a lot of libraries, museums, a lot of interesting places for young people, for children, to learn new stuff, to enjoy life while also learning. Canada is also one of the best economies in the world. In terms of GDP per capita, SPI, other such indicators put Canada right in one of the top countries.

But if you're wondering that's all fine but I'll be a new immigrant, will I be able to benefit from high GDP, like, will I be able to get a good job? I would say it's just like any other country. If you have, good communication skills, good technical skills, yes, it will be much easier for you to find a job.

And most of the immigrants who come to Canada already have good technical skills. All you need to do is work on your communication skills. You're settlement and your career should be much easier.

Also, Canada is very secure. you can see women walking in the streets late at night, traveling alone in the buses and subways, with no security issues. So, everyone can enjoy their life in peace and go about doing their work.

And also as per my discussion with different Canadians who've been to different parts of the world, also say that there's sort of peace in Canada. You feel that peace as you live here. So there you have it, Canada is many more than Niagara Falls.

There are a lot of beautiful, there are a lot of great things about Canada. And it's definitely one of the best places in the world to immigrate. When you are making this decision with your family, whether you want to immigrate or not, don't just think about jobs,

think about the bigger picture. Because you want to come here to settle down and spend your whole life as a Canadian. So look at all of these factors before making your decision. Thank you very much!
